Delete your NewsRustle data
If you are signed in
- Open NewsRustle and select Account.
- Choose “Delete my NewsRustle data.”
- Confirm deletion. If you see an error, deletion has not been confirmed; try again.
This removes your saved sources, Local primary place and followed city tabs, NewsRustle sign-in profile, active NewsRustle sessions, and account consent records from the active database. It does not delete your Google, Facebook, or other identity-provider account. Technical logs and provider backups may remain under the hosting providers’ retention policies.
Browser-only choices
Account deletion clears the Local copy on the browser you are using. To remove browser-only source choices, saved and read markers, your weather location, or Local choices from another browser or device, clear site data for newsrustle.com there as well. You do not need an account to clear browser data.
If you cannot access an earlier account
A monitored support contact and a process for requests without an active session must be published before new account registration opens. Do not send passwords or identity-provider credentials.
