About NewsRustle

NewsRustle is a Northwest Arkansas news reader operated by Mycelis Solutions, LLC. It brings local journalism and official public updates into one place, with links to the original publishers.

Use Add sources to choose and arrange your outlets. You can read without an account. Your browser remembers your choices; Google and Facebook account connections are still being configured.

Reporting and official notices

We label newsroom stories as reporting and announcements from public institutions as official updates. NewsRustle aggregates links and excerpts; the original publisher is responsible for its reporting, corrections, access rules, and subscriptions. An official announcement is a source’s own statement, not independent reporting.

Dates and collection

Stories are ordered by their publication dates when available. The collection time tells you when NewsRustle checked sources, not when an article was written. If a source cannot be reached, we may show its last successful collection. Coverage is not exhaustive, and feed failures can delay stories.

Explore your city

On Local, choose your area and add tabs for other places you follow. Northwest Arkansas cities use our collected local sources. Other places use indexed publisher headlines, whose indexed time can differ from the publication date.
